Punjab Grid Company Limited (PGCL), a public sector company fully owned by the Government of Punjab and operating under the Energy Department, invites applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals for key leadership positions. PGCL is responsible for electricity transmission services across Punjab.
These appointments will be made on a market-based salary package.
Available Vacancies & Eligibility
1. Chief Executive Officer – CEO (01 Post)
- Maximum Age: 62 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Preference for Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business or Project Management from HEC-recognized universities
- 20 years post-qualification experience in the power sector
- At least 5 years in senior management, preferably as CEO or directly reporting to the CEO
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Power transmission utilities
- Contract management
- Power sector regulatory affairs
- Tariff matters
2. Chief Financial Officer – CFO (01 Post)
- Maximum Age: 50 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants with minimum 5 years relevant experience (for public sector companies with assets of Rs. 5 billion or more), OR
- Master’s degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university with at least 10 years relevant experience
- Preference for candidates having finance and tariff experience in the power sector
3. General Manager Technical (01 Post)
- Maximum Age: 50 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (minimum requirement)
- Preference for Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years experience at management level in the power sector
4. Company Secretary – CS (01 Post)
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
Qualification & Experience:
- Member of a recognized body of Professional Accountants, OR
- Member of a recognized body of Corporate / Chartered Secretaries, OR
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Commerce, OR
- Law graduate from an HEC-recognized university
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
